Vaova - Colombia

‘Va o va’ – either you go or you go – is  a uncompromising local motto that reflects the motivation and vision of our company and particularly the founder Juan Pablo Toro. Since the beginning, Vaova’s ambition has been to set ourselves apart by sharing our detailed knowledge of Colombian destinations with clients and creating bespoke itineraries that reveal the magic of each location.

Initially working on family and friends’ holidays, Vaova began organising tours for prestigious university groups from the United States in 2016 and from this developed a pioneering MICE department. In December 2025, we won the Tourism Innovation Category of the Colombian National Tourism Awards, for the third time. This award recognises the bold ideas and hard work of the team in promoting Colombia as the exception international destination that it is. 

Vaova has now grown our leisure team, using our local knowledge and excellent contacts to create exceptional tailormade journeys for these clients. Responsible tourism, particularly experiences that connect travellers with local communities, traditions and history, is an important part of all our itineraries. We also incorporate many forms of local arts into what we offer to ensure guests have a truly immersive experience.
