Condor Travel set up the NGO ‘Wings’ in 2007 to facilitate the use of tourism to empower local communities. Wings has a long standing collaboration with the Misminay community in Peru’s Sacred Valley, and with local and international charities that share its aims. Over the years, the commitment to responsible and sustainable tourism has grown and Condor Travel has now achieved the ‘Preferred by Nature™’ Standard for Sustainable Travel Activities, confirming our dedication to conserving biodiversity, cultural heritage and local community welfare. We have also been carbon neutral across all our offices since 2024.

In 2025 Condor Travel were proud to receive the award for ‘DMC of the Year 2025’ at the LATA Excellence Awards, held at LATA EXPO in Old Windsor.
